Monitoring and evaluation

The Indiba-Africa Group, has significant experience in all aspects of evaluations of overall impact in terms of achievements and the growth and development of institutions and programmes; the complementarity of different programmes; harmonisation of donor funded programmes; and providing useful lessons learnt and recommendations for future programming.

We have 9 years of experience in programme evaluation, including European Union programmes (using OEDC-DAC Guidelines, EC-specific evaluation criteria and the EC Programme Cycle Management Guidelines and Evaluation criteria). The European Union evaluations have included the Final Evaluation of the Foundation for Human Rights; the Final Evaluation of EU’s CSO Component of the Access to Justice & Promotion of Constitutional Rights Programme in South Africa and a Feasibility Study for a new EU supported Human Rights Programme in South Africa; and the Final Evaluation of the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs’ Community-Based Participation in Local Government Programme on behalf of the EC. The Indiba-Africa Group has also conducted numerous other evaluations in South Africa, Malawi and Rwanda.

The Indiba-Africa Group has significant experience in conducting evaluations of justice sector, human rights and HIV and AIDS organisations. All our evaluations have taken gender dimensions into account.
