Prof. William Kosar, CITP/FIBP, is a senior legal & regulatory advisor, trainer, project manager and institutional development professional. He has worked throughout the world assisting governments and private sector entities with legal reform, legislative drafting and capacity building. His special interests include Regional Trade Agreements, commercial law, PPPs, energy and water.
Prof. Kosar has taught in Kuwait as well as at numerous universities and colleges in Canada where he has delivered courses in International Trade Finance in addition to numerous courses on Commercial Law and International Business Management. In addition, over the past dozen years, Professor Kosar has taught the entire Forum for International Trade Training curriculum.
An author of two legal textbooks and numerous legal articles, he has worked in Sub-Saharan Africa, Afghanistan, the Middle East, the Balkans and Viet Nam. Prof. Kosar is a Candidate Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a Certified International Trade Practitioner.
